Reflect:
The artifacts that I chose for this standard represent it well because they both show my understanding of diverse learners and how to adapt to them in a classroom. The artifact that I chose for 3.B was part of a bigger project that I completed about blindness. This artifact is the fact sheet from this particular assignment that explains blindness and other facts about this disability. It relates to this specific category because it shows my knowledge and understanding of exceptional learners and how to relate to them in the classroom and provide for them and their differences. The artifact that I chose for 3.E is an assignment that I completed in which I had to write about diversity in education and why it is important to incorporate diversity in the classroom. This artifact relates to this specific category because it shows my understanding of diversity and different cultures and incorporating them in the classroom. It shows that I feel that it is extremely important to promote diveristy for all students so that all children can understand other students and understand the importance of diveristy. Both of these artifacts relate to this standard because they show that I understand diversity in students and realize that there are differences amongst students and that I can make sure to adapt to these differences.

Project:
I think that these artifacts show that I am a learner that has shown effort into learning about diversity and exceptional learners. I also believe that they have made me a learner that is able to understand and see diversity and the differences they face and that I will be able to adapt accordingly for the student. I think that these artifacts show that I want to become a teacher that promotes diversity in my classroom and accepts differences in students and will do anything that I can to make sure that the students feel accepted by others who are not used to diverse students. I feel that these artifacts are helping me become a better teacher because they are allowing me to learn and provide for diverse students which is a skill that all teachers should possess.
